The demand for baby chicks surged during COVID, and has been growing steadily since. Travis Young of Buckerfield's attributes the trend to a growing interest in backyard coops. The Langford location of the BC chain got its first shipment Wednesday, and CBC's Roszan Holmen went to have a look.
